The Melbourne National Museum! We saw these kids outside... guess they are on a field trip. There was a fair mix of australians and asians in there... Can't wait to see what's inside! But we only have about 2 hours to tour the complex.
A skeleton of a pygmy blue whale... Look at its size!! And it ain't even the real deal!! The pygmy blue whale is a smaller version of the blue whale...
Some kid threw his shoe up and got it caught in the tram cables... cool...
The Melbourne Cricket Ground... Gorgeous stadium... I did a tour around it's outside cos i was stopped by security when i tried to enter... It hosted the olympic games in 1956, and has since underwent renovation. There's a beautiful marble tablet set up outside to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the games. Is that our tram coming?? Nope... We covered most of melbourne by tram... It was a really new experience to travel by tram. It's clean and pollution free!
The view of University Of Melbourne. It's a really well-preserved place. Walking around it gives a feel of walking in Hogwarts!
Our last meal... In Singapore... before 12 gruelling hours of flight... btw, did you know that domestic flights are captained by noobs? It's the best way to expose them to more flight time before pushing them up into international duties... The landings we experienced during domestic flights felt like the closest thing to a mishap!
Melbourne Square, where crispy creme was found... Everything there is expensive so don't bother buying anything... A t-shirt won't go less than A$25...
The view of the city from Jeremy's apartment as the sun sets in Melbourne... I covered most of what's there on foot... Roaming the streets was really fun!!
A giant rubix cube lodged into the ground! This is the children's wing of the musuem... The national musuem with the national heritage centre in the background... The National Heritage Centre is listed in some UN organisation as a world heritage site...
The view of the city in the morning...
A cooperative bird who was game enough to pose for a picture... smile!!
